Context
Booking flows undermine the product they sell
Cabin stays are sold on stillness, and travel booking interfaces are the opposite — urgency banners, scarcity counters, multi-step wizards. The concept asks whether a booking flow can carry the tone of the thing being booked.
Goal
Compress the search, slow the page
Region, dates and guests collapse into one row so the functional part takes seconds. Everything around it — imagery, pacing, whitespace — is deliberately unhurried, so speed lives in the interaction and calm lives in the page.
Process
Four steps, all visible
Rather than reveal the booking journey one screen at a time, all four stages are shown up front. Knowing the whole path in advance turned out to be more reassuring than a progressive wizard, which is the finding the concept was built to test.
