Translating Freight Vocabulary Into E-commerce Seller Problems
Last-Mile, Imports and Warehousing Described as Merchant Outcomes
A shipping company serving e-commerce sellers needed the site to speak to merchants rather than to freight professionals. We built it around last-mile, imports and warehousing as seller problems.
- 99%On-time delivery rate
- 50+Global destinations served
- 24/7Customer support

Context
Freight vocabulary loses e-commerce sellers
Benex's customers are online sellers, not logistics managers. Terms like freight forwarding and consolidation are precise and largely meaningless to a merchant whose actual question is whether their parcels arrive on time and what it costs.

Goal
Translate the service list into seller problems
Every service was rewritten from the merchant's point of view — getting stock from China, storing it, and getting it to a customer's door. The freight terminology stays available underneath for readers who want it, but it no longer leads.

Process
Tracking promoted to the navigation
Analysis of the old site showed most repeat traffic was looking for one thing: a shipment status. Promoting Track Shipment into the top-level navigation removed the most common source of support messages.
Elements
What we built into the page
Seller-Framed Services
Last-mile, international shipping, warehousing and China imports described as merchant problems.
Track Shipment
A tracking entry point promoted into the main navigation.
Performance Proof
On-time delivery, support hours and destination count stated as figures.
Free Quote Path
A single quote route repeated at each scroll depth.
Impact
Fewer status calls, more quote requests
Support volume around tracking has dropped since the navigation change, and quote requests now come predominantly from e-commerce sellers rather than general enquiries.
