Context
Airport hotels are booked in a hurry
A guest searching for a room near Cochin International is usually mid-journey, often on a phone, and deciding in under two minutes. Anything that delays the date selection — a splash screen, a modal, a gallery carousel — costs the booking.
Goal
Settle location, then take the dates
The first screen answers the only two questions that matter at that moment: how far is it, and is it available. Amenities, restaurant and facilities load beneath for the guest who is choosing between two options rather than racing to book one.
Process
Booking widget designed before the brand pages
We built and tested the inline date picker first, on a mid-range Android phone over mobile data, and only then designed the pages around it. That order kept the booking path from being compromised by decoration added later.

Direct bookings that skip the aggregator
The hotel now has a direct booking path competitive with the aggregator listings it was previously dependent on, and the restaurant section has started generating covers from non-resident guests.
